About IsleSense

Coming from a background of traditional industrial load monitoring design, test and  manufacture with a specialism of race yacht  load sensing we’ve seen a fair few head scratching problems over the years. Yet we’re an optimistic bunch and see that our experience can be shared and where a problem exists a solution is not far away….

In a complex world where sensing and measurement form an essential part in keeping us safe and on track, we will aim to explore and demystify the world of force and load measurement.   We will  bring principles and practical examples together plus demonstrate valid reasons why the sensing of load and strain is so important to our modern life.

Here is just a selection of load cells we’ve made over the years….

We are also keen to learn and  incorporate a wider range of sensing content to these blogs, some of the projects over the years we have worked on required many different sensing modules…yet there's a whole world of innovation out there. Thus we would welcome contributions from others to enrich our current knowledge and truly make this a blog the comprehensive resource for all.

If you feel that this content is useful to you or you have some interesting project or knowledge you’d like to share please get in contact…Thank you.
